1. Wash Care
Steps:
- Fill a basin with lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
- Soak your bra for 10–15 minutes.
- Gently massage the cups in circular motions to clean and release any tension from wearing.
- Avoid wringing or twisting the cups. Instead, press them lightly, using a towel to remove excess water.
2. Steaming
One of the quickest ways to prevent wrinkled cups is with proper wash care and drying methods. This is especially helpful for foam-cup or moulded bras. How to Use:
- Hang the bra on a hanger.
- Gently steam the inside and outside of the cups without pressing too hard.
- Use your hand to shape and smooth the cups while steaming.
- Let the bra cool and dry naturally before storing.
3. Air Dry with Care
What to Do:
- Gently reshape the cups of your bra and lay it flat on a fresh cloth.
- To avoid stretching, bras can also be hung by the centre gore, which is the section between the cups, rather than the straps.
Preventing Bra Cups from Wrinkling
1. Store Properly
- Avoid folding one cup into the other since this will result in pressure and wrinkles that won’t go away.
- Instead, place bras flat in a drawer with the cups facing forward, stacking them one behind the other.
- To keep them upright, use a box or bra organiser.
