Magazine covers that tell a story are no longer the trend, they make jaws drop instead! There have been some truly iconic covers in past that told a story or introduced a term/concept, but that is now diluted to themes, the covers are light-hearted but also loud. With that being said, Bollywood is becoming the new symbol of glamour and ‘perfection’. Many thousands of calories are burned before the grand photoshoot for the cover. The industry also makes sure not one celebrity (or their children) feel left out.
And fashion has spoken when words couldn’t, thanks to the stylists of our country who are immensely creative and experimental, they have created and produced mind-blowing looks on the leading ladies and have set real trends henceforth. One such has been to style bras as outerwear or along with other articles of clothing. Bra is one item that has been subject to myths, taboos and judgment, an undergarment we cannot do without but must remain invisible under our clothes all.the.time. To break that mould for a magazine cover is top-notch and will probably change the taboos around bras. Our takeaway is that bras either fully or partly can be shown, intentionally as a style or unintentionally without shame and full of grit.
Maybe some of you don’t see these covers saying that, but there’s always more to things besides these stars are the representation of the entire womanhood. Take your lesson!
